At Iris & Barry Blooms, we specialize in artful wedding florals across Lake Tahoe, Northern Nevada, and beyond. I know the heart, time, and investment that goes into your big day, which is why my goal is simple: to create intentional, breathtaking florals that tell your unique story.
My design style is often described as lush, earthy, and untamed, but every arrangement is tailored specifically to your vision. We prioritize seasonal blooms, support local growers, and practice sustainable mechanics whenever possible.

My name is Michelle, and I’m the owner and lead designer at Iris & Barry Blooms. With 18 years in the floral industry across California and Nevada, my passion for botanical design led me to launch Iris & Barry Blooms in 2017—named after my niece, Iris, and my maiden name, Barry.
Originally from Los Angeles, Carson City, NV is now home for my husband, our 2-year-old daughter, and me. Balancing life as a florist and a mom keeps my perspective grounded and my heart full—and between raising my little girl and turning blooms into whimsical art, our home studio is always filled with a little wild magic. I feel incredibly honored to work with nature every day and help celebrate life’s sweetest milestones with you!

What areas do you serve?
We serve Lake Tahoe, CA/NV, Truckee, Olympic Valley, Reno, Gardnerville, Carson City, and the surrounding areas.
What is your minimum?
Full-service weddings typically begin at $5k. Micro-weddings of 30 guests or less begin at $3.5k, and elopements begin at $400. Minimum pricing ensures high-quality blooms and beautiful, bespoke designs. Pricing will vary depending on the size of the event, the scope of the floral designs, and the type of flowers desired.
Do you offer A-La-Carte flowers?
We do offer A-La-Carte flowers, with a studio minimum of $250.
How much should I plan to spend on wedding flowers?
Each wedding is unique, but a good rule of thumb is that you should allocate about 15% of your overall wedding budget to florals. If you are looking for very lush, elaborate floral decor you should plan on closer to 20%- 25% of your overall budget.
Do you offer rental items?
While the primary focus is on florals, we do have a a small selection of arch frames, pillars, and brass stands available for rent (please inquire for more details). We also work closely with several local wedding rental companies, so if there are specific items you are looking for, we are happy to refer you!
What are break-down and re-purpose services?
Re-purpose services (moving and re-using florals from the ceremony to cocktail hour and/or the reception) during the event, if required, begin at $95 due to the staffing needed on site. We do not recommend re-purposing flowers from your ceremony if they will be outdoors, in full sun.
Break-down (removal of florals and any rental items after the reception), if required, begins at $400 (depending on the venue location and staffing needed on site).
